Hello people (my first post here) and thanks in advanced for your time

One quick question about these bulbs.... I'm looking for a spare part of 65w Osram 64217 bulb and I'm not very sure if I use the 80w 62261 the headlamp of vehicle will be damaged by overheat ??

And not sure if change increase the wattage of the bulb will produce and overheat inside the lamp...or it's only a rebrand cosmetic in the same bulb

What vehicle are you asking about? Knowing the year, make, model, and trim level (Sport, XLE, Limited, etc) will help us help you.

Hello,

An European Renault Megane classic phase II, 2001. (about trim.. I'm not sure touring?, is the basic model without modifications)

It's working with osram 65 h7 but, like you know, these bulbs are been replaced by osram 80w h7 so I'm not very sure if they're dangerous by overheat the header lamps...
