I bought two AW 18650 2900 mAh in 2011. I used them in my lights until about a year ago, at which point I charged them fully and put them away.
A few days ago I bought a SkyRC MC3000 charger, so I decided to do a full discharge to check the remaining capacity. I discharged them at 1A.
Cell 1: 2563 mAh
Cell 2: 2612 mAh
I then looked for a review and found this:
https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/AW 18650 2900mAh (Black) UK.html
The stated capacity for a 1A discharge is 2656 mAh.
I think that pretty darn impressive.
I have put a storage charge on them now, because I have no use for them right now. Let's see how they do in a few years
