I was wondering if anyone in this corner of the forum has used or seen the Pelican Big D with the 290 lumen, 11 Watt bulb? Does it live up to it's rating in terms of brightness? How about the 600 lumen bulb? I probably won't purchase the light (although it does look rather cool...) but noticed the lamp produces 26 lumens per watt - based on Pelican's specs - and was considering using this piece for modding another light.
