Finally use your MiniStar2 in your Maglite

Now with the TerraLUX BA-1 PR bulb adapter it is possible to use your TLE-4 MiniStar1 ,TLE-5 MiniStar2 or TLE-10 MicroStar1 in your 2,3 or 4D Maglite! The top of the BA-1 has a two pin socket like the Mini-Mag. It contains a voltage divider inside. The TLE-4,TLE-5 and TLE-10 have their own TerraLUX regulators. Caution must be used with the TLE-5 MiniStar2 because the reflector hole is about the same size as the TLE-5 disk and may snag on the reflector and twist the two leds when you focus the Maglite. The TLE-4 and TLE-10 have no problem because their disk are smaller than the reflector hole in the Maglite. Here is a link to the BA-1 PR bulb adapters

Any idea how long a TLE-5 MiniStar2 w/this adaptor would last in a 3D M@g in terms of battery life?

I'm not sure how long the TLE-5 would last in a 3D Maglite,but I do know it would be much longer than in a Mini-Mag.
