The "have to prove it" part regarding the MM act is interesting and a commonly coined fallacy.
If you think about it, who would they have to prove anything to? Certainly not the vehicle owner standing at the service counter yelling "prove it". It would have to be proven in court, at the...
XeRay, I've never flow a Glasair but they look like fun. I'm not allowed fun flying in the 747-8F (other than the enjoyment of flying itself) but it certainly is a heavy.
Looks like I can get Toshiba 9011 from Stern. How much better, if at all, (and in what ways) is this than the Philips 9011? In other words, are these worth ordering from Stern?
So I have some H9 bulbs that I purchased approximately a decade ago but I have never used them. Assuming they still work, can I expect a shorter life from them than I would expect from equivalent brand new H9 bulbs?
Actually candlepower inc seems to carry the Vosla 9012 +30 now. Assuming these are legit I will order from there (they do ship to Canada). $20 a piece if 2 are purchased. Plus shipping of course

Oh look. A hidplanet member jumping in to stand up for another who has broken the rules and who doesn't like CPF. Color me shocked.
I believe Philips has, or will shortly have, an LED replacement that does work in place of a filament bulb. I believe Scheinwerfermann has mentioned these in the past. They are being tested on a car-by-car basis and have found to work safely and effectively and compliantly on the 2008 Honda...
Of course they're dangerous. The HID arc can never safely be substituted for a halogen filament and 99.99999% of the LED replacement bulbs (all but those from one manufacturer, Philips IIRC) simply do not put the requisite light at the focal point of a reflector designed AROUND an incandescent...
