The Streamlight was on eBay; giving the link would have destroyed the low price.
However, there's another one -- this time in green -- that's got a few days left on it. Run a search for "streamlight tl-3 led" and it's the first item that shows up. Only one other person bid on the one I was...
Thanks for all the great information :-)
I was able to get it for $45.
As an afterthought, what do you think of a Pelican M3 LED for $50? Didn't seem like quite as nice a deal to me. Also, it seems like a light that floods bright but doesn't throw so far is better for urban exploration...
I'd prefer to spend a moderate amount of money to get a flashlight I'll use for many years. I primarily want it for urban exploration (I can only think to call it a sort of sport, for lack of a better word, if you've never heard of it). Think of exploring drainage tunnels, abandoned factories...

Incidentally, how do you get a better throw? Can someone tell me how this light compares to an Inova T5? What about a T3? I'm...
This is the LED version.
Two things that worry me are that the flashlight doesn't seem to score so well with regard to a throw rating on Flashlight Reviews, and the beam looks tinted blue...
Does anyone know how this would compare to an Inova T5 (or an X5)? Qualitative comparison is great...
Hi folks, I'm new to these forums and new to flashlights in general. I've just started looking for a higher-quality flashlight; I need decent battery life, like 2-3 hours continuous with little degradation in brightness, light-weight (preferably using those smallish disposable lithium...
