    Normally, heats should stabilize at one point, way before the 24h. Also, for optics you can look at ledil. I think optics will be better than reflectors

    If bridgelux could come out with a "dome" version I'd be all over it (and if you could get lens/reflectors) but for flashlights and directional lighting, I donT' see how they can be used. For interior applications though they seem great. Unless I'm completely missing something?

    SST-90 is still very hard to get, but this is the next step after the MC-E and P7 I would think, for multi die applications. I am trying to get my hands on a few but they are low bins for now.

    if federal laws supersede all others, then why most aftermarket performance stuff is often all states legal except california? I'd be tempted to say states can have laws as long as they are at least as strict as the federal ones

    I would drive the 3 MCE in series with a hipFlex. You know Vin will be close to Vout so high efficiency (10.8 vs 14).
