    Cure for loose tail switches on Gerber Sonics?

    I found a solution that works pretty well: Go to Lowe's and in the plumbing department get a #5 o-ring. Take the existing o-ring off the Sonic and slip the #5 on. It will be too thick so you will have to shave it down with a razor blade. Leave the o-ring thick enough to give you a little resistance.

    Two power level switch for Minimags?

    Thanks for the replies everybody. I purchased a Terrorlux Ministar 2 side emitting drop in that I enjoy very much. I may try one of the Badboy sandwiches but the battry life will be too short unless I can rig up a 2 power level switch.

    Hmm, mine didn't come with one. I have the survival model. Anyone know if Palight sells them as an accessory? I'm happy with my light but the beam pattern is a little blotchy.
