I have a single AA Farpoint flashlight that I got from American Science and Surplus for about 8 dollars that can do, it says, 300 lumens. One of those focus flashlights. OK for the price but I also have a Streamlight 1L-1AA that is much nicer.
My current go-to EDC flashlight is the Streamlight 1L-1AA and I like everything about it except that it's not titanium.
I am looking for a titanium flashlight in the 500-1,000 lumen range that has a similar form factor to my Streamlight 1L-1AA. I like the looks of a couple of the Reylight...
This is a good deal but I chose to go the Ala Carte route for a couple of reasons.
1. Not much use for the 1 quart saucepan or the saute pan.
2. I wanted a mix of nonstick and stainless steel.
I wound up with a Calphalon Contemporary nonstick anodized 2 1/2 quart shallow saucepan and a...
Pretty clear the new UC01 you have on order is similar to the popular nitecore tube and lots of folks would be very interested in your thoughts after you have it. Lots of folks report they the tube holds up well.
Coleman CT15mc. 3AAA, 150 lumens, white, blue and red and a lanyard. Was a gift from my girlfriend along with a Coleman CT 70 after the last power outage.
That is indeed correct. I want a 2-AA twisty that's 5 inches in length or less, that has a clip and can tail stand.

Flashlight newbie here.
One of my favorite online vendors is American Science and Surplus. Great for stocking stuffers and useful gadgets/ bags/ tools for great prices.
The most recent catalog has several "Cree" flashlights.
I'm thinking about the penlight (# 95318 in the current...
Many years ago when drug reps were still allowed to give presents to physicians, I was given a Fisher bullet space pen with a logo. But what I really wanted to mention is that I was also given a "bullet knockoff" of good quality that looks like the Fisher bullet but takes Parker refills. This...
I purchased the E05. Here's a follow-up question: for keychain use would I be better off with the stainless steel version of the E05? I think the SS version might hold up better over time in terms of resistance to impacts with keys and my Leatherman Micra. Thanks
Bryan
Hi, I'm a newbie and this is my first question. I'm purchasing some flashlights because we had a power failure a week ago and I relied on the flashlight mode on my Droid Maxx to help me locate and light my candles.
I visited my local REI in Reading MA and saw the two "mini" AAA keychain...
