    Well, you could say that why didn't they make it a AA for SHTF. Besides, in 10 years 18650 will probably only sold for old devices. Tech is always changing and what is the norm today will eventually be a nich market.

    Again, why not AA??? They have more power more life, more availability, and fractionally larger. AAA makes no sense.

    They make these all the time. They make them, run out, and make another batch. AA copper is what they need to make another batch of. Maybe even a 2AA copper!

    If it was 2AA I would bite. AAA lights make little sense to me.

    One of the reasons I never go overboard on any standard/technology is that what was the must have will shortly become obsolete.

    In a purse a 1 cr123 would make sense. The fact of the matter is that even an 1 18650 light is small these days.

    I don't get why these lights are so prevalent. I have them, but I either end up losing them, or they are just too small in the hand to be useful.

    Best throwing 2xAA flashlight?

    What about the MT2A??? It is a lot stronger than the MT21A. 345 lumens: 2 hour 15 minute runtime. I don't get why it is never metioned.
