Designed for Hands-Free Operation: NEW Multifunctional Fenix WT20R LED Flashlight

Thanks for your reply AVService. The supplied battery is a Li-Polymer 3.7 volt 2000mAh 7.4 Wh pack. I guess therefore that two 14500 batteries in series would far exceed anything the light can handle and so I could use just one 14500 battery as back-up? The battery pack has a + and -, both at...

Designed for Hands-Free Operation: NEW Multifunctional Fenix WT20R LED Flashlight

Can anybody think of a reason why 2 x 14500 batteries should not be used in this light? I think it would make more sense for me to carry these as back-up rather than AA batteries.

Great thread but could perhaps be updated? Post in 2008 suggested that it is out-of-date- that's eight years ago.

Convoy S2+ UV light for USD $19.10 on GearBest

Thanks Phlogiston I already have one of these lights but at this price I couldn't resist ordering another. This is as good as any UV light I have seen and I used to use them all the time at work. The only light that matches it and is more versatile is the venerable Streamlight Night Com but that...

Differences between being a UK and US flashaholic?

There are still a few UK torch manufacturers- Clulite, Dragon Lights, Samalight, IPCO and Exposure Lights are the ones I know of. I have one of the latter ( the XS ) and am quite impressed with it. Not all the products supplied on the listed sites are UK made, but at least some of the lights on...

    Shipping fees for international orders

Agreed I to have had the same problem, to such an extent that I seldom import anything from The States anymore. There are exemptions, suppliers like Unique Titanium and others display their charges and are reasonable. The much derided USPS does a cheapish standard international small package...

Summary:what was your 3 best flashlights purchases for year 2015?

Re. Exposure Marine XS For bykfixer and anybody else interested, regrettably posting photos is not a superpower I possess and yes I have read the threads on this forum explaining how to do it without comprehension!. However the link to the light on the manufacturers website is-...

Summary:what was your 3 best flashlights purchases for year 2015?

Maxtoch M24 Sniper BLF Edition- similar throw to my Olight M3XS-UT but much cheaper, at least as well made and a much nicer tint. Nitecore EC11- 18350 option gives huge performance for so small a light, interesting UI including battery metering, low moonlight mode and good choice of levels...

Are Jil Lite ( Jillite? ) no more?

A recent search for the above manufacturer revealed no web address for the company and the domain name up for sale. A few of their lights are still for sale on eBay but they are the old models. The company does not seem to have produced any new lights for a few years. If they are out of business...

TAD Gear LensLight KO TAD Edition Ti

Many thanks for the replies, the light disappeared from the site at more than £400 so I was too slow. I was not, however, very tempted at that price.
