Well, i ordered one, on Dec.8th,2018. ZL says won't ship til late January, early Feb. Very pleased with the 3 18650 lights from ZL. Hopefully, this one pans out, too. Happy New Year!
I received my QTY 2 1100 lum SC600 MKii's last night . They are impressive, to be so small.. They feel very solid, and work flawlessly. So far I am very pleased. They will get a workout. Because they will be carried daily to work. take care, ctrashp

I too have had problems with those 8.4 powerpacks. I have Several. My solution has been : Go to Walmart ,Or Ebay) buy the rechargable 6 volt battery gel cell, for $8 (used for Deer/Corn Feeders) and use the pig tail and charger from your 8.4 set up. Your Run time will increase 4 X . Light...

I ordered a couple Panasonic 18650 rechargables last night. Should pay for themselves in two weeks or less... lol.

I took the RCR's and tried them in an older cree Q series, 6 volt and they melted it to the ground as expected.
