NItecore EC1 = Less than quality experience

I agree, it is. But if I need something at a specific time, or since I've been lucky to receive a used "new" product in the past, I don't care as much anymore. Shelm makes a good point above. Video proof really isn't needed, but if a retailer can't at least quickly evaluate a product, then...

I read the manual online before I received the light. You know, the excitement anticipation thing.

NItecore EC1 = Less than quality experience

Re: NItecore EC1 = Junk I could change it to "nitecore = toy". :-) Nah, that's bad. I'll keep trying until I find an awesome light I suppose. There are folks that like this light.

NItecore EC1 = Less than quality experience

Re: NItecore EC1 = Junk I guess I should just fall in line and be happy there is a warranty. I don't buy much that isn't a necessity anymore for this very reason, and each time I do, it just reinforces the reasons I stay away from needless material goods.

NItecore EC1 = Less than quality experience

Re: NItecore EC1 = Junk Not really rubbishing them. For the price, I expect it work, and appreciate companies who sell items that work. None of this calculated failure/ deal with during service BS. If you folks don't mind wasting time with warranty and not having an item you ordered when you...

    Eye10 or V11R

NItecore EC1 = Less than quality experience

Re: NItecore EC1 = Junk Not yet 24 hours. I'm expecting/hoping the retailer to handle it though. I don't have any intention of dealing with China (if that's how it works from what I've read). It began malfunctioning within the first hour out of the box. It's the same way in photography; you...

NItecore EC1 = Less than quality experience

Just in case anyone is thinking about purchasing from the explorer series. The light is cool, the light is bright enough and overall it was worth the price... for almost an hour. the first glitch happened after turning on the red LED. After that, nothing worked as it was supposed to: I...

    Eye10 or V11R

I was thinking about that one too, but I think I'm getting sucked into the variable dimming idea of eye10. Plus: I think I'd enjoy a floodier light. Hmm... I don't know if all of that really bothers me or not. BTW, I didn't know there where flashlight geeks too.

    Eye10 or V11R

I have a Fenix PD10 that is flaking out on me after a year, but I like the size and twisty. I'm looking for a replacement and hoping to find something of more overall quality, and secondarily, more lumens. I'm going to follow along. I did buy a nitecore EC1 for S&G, but that is irrelevant to...
