What is a "tactical" flashlight?

I totally agree with smokescreen. Tactical is just a term used in flashlights. However if its used, from what I get from it is that you have modes that are preset that you know %100 that you will get when you turn on the lights. Also some are designed so it can withstand recoil if it were to...

What was the ONE light that got you hooked...

Mine was an led maglight 2xAA that my dad won from his work place. I was just fiddling around with it and then decided to do a google search on led flashlights. Then after some researching, i bought myself a quark X 2xAA NW and my life haven't been the same ever since :D

The Fenix itch

I too was looking for a fenix tk35 and after searching around i came across a flashlight that seems to be a pretty good bang for the buck. It is called the shiningbeam blaze. It's rated at 720 Lumens and for the price you can't really complain!
