    Nitecore LA10 & LA10 CRI comparison review

I pretty much much trust Nitecore until I purchase this one. Their SRT series is great, but the LA10 behavior seems eccentric. It sometimes failed to turn on, other times manage to turn on but failed to switch to other mode.

    ReviewTheLight: Nitecore SRT3 Defender

As a seaman working on the bridge, I can't find better replacement for this light. Rechargeable batteries, with AA batteries adapter in case of emergency, clicky switch with preset setting. The red light works good shining log book at night, and the brightest setting is good enough to see...

Any user here with a Nitecore SRT3 and an AW protected 14500 cell?

Tried it using the extension and AW 14500(black IC-Protection, 3.7v 750mAh) and it work fine. Why you would chose to use 14500 instead of ICR123? Both have the same capacity, and 14500 only add its length. I've been charging all my batteries using Nitecore D4 and they work fine as well.

    SRT3 tritium marker anyone?

I have been using paint marker pen to mark the bezel, for the purpose that I prefer to switch on the light on the correct mode. Issue is those marker tends to wear off pretty easily. Have anyone tried grinding notch for tritium on the bezel?
