    V11R Mod question

    Thanks for the detailed answer. I ended up getting a V11R cool white for the lumens (570) and an older HDS120E with a 3700k emitter (don't know which one). Now I want a High CRI Rotary by HDS!

    You'll like the V11R. Get the AA extender - burns on 14500s CR123 570 lumens is pretty impressive for the size - then you can dial it down to moonlight. I've had mine a year and a half used daily no problems - but I am careful with the magnetic ring and always turn it very slowly
