Need a new flashlight (newbie here)

Thanks guys, I am stuck between the Jetbeam M1X and the Eagletac M2XC4 (what tint is the best?) because I want the brightest and good throw. Also, where is the cheapest place to buy them including shipping (must ship to Canada)? Are there any discounts for being a CPF member?

Need a new flashlight (newbie here)

Thanks, those flashlights look awesome. What are the quality and reliability of them? What are the chances/ how often do the LED burn out and is it replaceable? Also, anything I can find under $100 and under $50??

Need a new flashlight (newbie here)

Hi, I am looking around for a brand new flashlight but I absolutely have no knowledge about the brands etc... What is the BRIGHTEST, best quality flashlight I can buy (I don't care about the size as long as it's the brightest)? My budget is around $100 but no more than $150. Also, what kind of...

Is the Nitecore Defender worth it? $80

I guess I'll get it now because its gonna be the only one I will use and keep it for my life.

Is the Nitecore Defender worth it? $80

How bright is it compared to one of those big maglites (older model with incandecent) with 3 D Cells? You see, I have very little knowledge of flashlights. I just want to test out my new eneloop batteries. Heck, I don't even collect flashlights. I don't even know how I started.

Didn't know about the deal. But I just put a mad face for for the heck of it.

Is the Nitecore Defender worth it? $80

Nevermind, I decided not to get it. I guess $80 is just too much, Max I'd go is $50 but they don't have the offer no more.

Is the Nitecore Defender worth it? $80

Thinking of getting it but the price is kinda high. This is gonna be my first expensive flashlite. My other one is a C3 Ultrafire 1 mode. Whats the comparison between these two? By the way, this is the brightest AA out right now right? If not which one? Should I get it?

best AA light out right now

"Throws 3700lux @ 1m" How many lumens is this?

Is this the same bulb as the Nitecore Defender?

How strong is LED exactly? If you drop it many times can it break? Is it made out of glass or plastic? Also, is inside the LED hollow?

Is this the same bulb as the Nitecore Defender?

Strobe mode stresses the bulb a lot I'm assuming, so this is why I'm a bit worried. Thanks for the replies though. Do you guys know where the cheapest place to buy it? Eneloops work good with it right? Does anyone know how bright this is compared to a normal Maglite 3 D-Cells or a Ultrafire C3?

Is this the same bulb as the Nitecore Defender?

Doesn't the Nitecore already have the transformers and stuff in the circuit to boost the voltage/current for the LED? Because I plan on buying the "expensive" Nitecore and get a set of these extra LEDs just for backup. Do you know where to get any cheap soldering guns or whatever you call it...
