    Since your kids are not mature, i won't suggest you to give them very expensive Flashlights. I have a seven year old nephew, i gave him JY-SUPER Flashlight which cost only $5.

    Spiderco knives serves the purpose well. Undoubtedly, they have good quality blade. Though i find them a little more expensive compared to other similar knives.

    Overall its a good and simple design. The blade is sharp and smoothly cut through anything. My only concern is the grip of the knife which i guess could be improved considering its performance.

    I typically carry a survival LED headlamp. Easy usability and long lasting battery life and that makes it great for camping or hiking.

    In your pocket do you carry a knife much larger than your flashlight?

    I carry a pocket knife which is usually smaller than my flashlight. I prefer carrying small and compact gear during camping, hiking and other expeditions. A convenient approach to happy camping :)
