The cooler temps might "look" easier to see, but in reality it makes it harder to see in the dark and blinds the rest of us. Honestly all headlights need to be legally required to be no more than 3000-3500k
Well I prefer nimh for their durability, and tolerance to heat and other things. I can toss them in the truck and not worry at all. Plus I like being able to use off-the-shelf cells and such. I already have a lot of AA eneloops, and Centura C and D cells too. haha
