    Another attempt at PayPal Fraud

Woah... thats the best trojan site I've ever seen... It hides the address bar and displays a fake (which is slightly off color) with the PayPal URL.

    Dodge Sprinter

I have never heard of them under the Dodge name before, but theyve been around the US for a few years as Freightliner Sprinter vans; I assume theyre the same thing, since FL and Dodge are "corporate cousins."

    Windows XP question

I'm thinking back to the old days, are these games 16-bit (designed for Windows 3.1)? I remember back when I upgraded from 3.1/64MB to my NT 4.0 based Dual PII-400 w/ 512MB of RAM that a few of my 3.1 apps wouldn't work with so MUCH memory, I believe such a large number caused a type of buffer...

    Windows XP question

It will mosty likely be corrected by changing the Compatibility settings. Since the program is a native Win32 app, (it said "virtual memory") it does not use EMS or XMS, which are methods DOS uses to allow applications to address greater than 640k of memory. No native Windows application, Win16...

End of the Car of the Future

Yeah, I think I am fairly well entrenched in the EV world I am extremely disappointed in the whole automotive industry's lack of interest in producing EVs! I remember when I was about 11 seeing "Beyond 2000" on the Discovery Channel showing the EV1 (actually the Impact at the time) and its...

End of the Car of the Future

Hey now, don't be dissin my favorite truck Yeah, Dave, a DMax/Alli Suburban would be a great thing, almost as good as a Li-ion Suburban Back to the topic, has anyone heard any more about AC Propulsion's plan to convert and sell Scions? Although the Scion is not the best vehicle around...

Motorola Spirit M-Series 2-way radio thoughts?

What I always thought is VHF propigates better in an open, rolling outdoor situation and UHF bounces around in buildings better than VHF, but does not "curve" along hills like VHF does. Either radio is good, but neither reaches anywhere near the claimed range unless you are in a line-of-sight...

    500 HP $150K Ford GT

Once you get into that price range get a li-ion tZero!!! 0-60mph in 3.7 sec and 300 mile all electric range . I think it is running around $200k from AC Propulsion.

What sort of keychain do you use?

Laser pointer too when not at school, huh Brian? Me, I just carry my truck key/keyless entry unit and an Arc AAA on a split-ring, my house has a numeric keypad lock, so I have no need for a house key, as the unit has been reliable for 4-5 years now.

Yep, well not exactly, I'm in Ringgold GA, but I go to HS in Chattanooga Have you been to the Electric Vehicle info center at the Choo Choo? They have an EV1 (like Darrel's) there you can look at.... just sad it had to be pulled away from some Californian to be here... anyway, I know I've...

    Next light(s) to get?

MR Bulk's Space Needle II is quite awesome, right now you can get them for $105 shipped with UCL lens I believe. Just be careful to only use quality batteries in it, such as Surefire SF123As (right now there is no excuse not to, with them being $15 for 12), as I has a bad set of incidents of...

Warning!! Do not use "Great Power" Batts w/DD LEDs

Warning!! Do not use \"Great Power\" Batts w/DD LEDs These Great Power 123As found occasionally on eBay quite cheap burned out my Space Needle II!!! They seem to deliver quite a strong initial pulse of current before settling down to a more normal power output. What happened to my SN II was...

    just received my 12-LED lanterns

I was wondering the same thing, how it is regulated. If the knob is simply a variable resistor, wouldn't it waste much of the battery power when on low settings?
