Are GE Reveal LEDs (blue-top from yesteryear) Worth Anything? I'm thinking nope.

A few years ago, there was a much-coved blue-topped Reveal LED. It was a unicorn, but real. Colors were vibrant and crisp across the spectrum. Then, GE switched things around for efficiency and quietly started shipping higher-lumen bulbs. I, as others, loved these. However, I pulled them...

    Decent White LED Strips?

interesting...and good news. I ended up going in a direction similar to this. I found on Amazon a type of strip that had both WW and CW LEDs. Every other LED was different. I put both channels on dimmers so that I can mix and match as time goes on if they shift color. The quality of the...

Building Door Trim w/ Built-In Lighting - Lighting Type Ideas?

I posted another topic requesting recommendations for decent LED strips. But, from another topic on this forum, there is very little hope in finding a decent LED strip. That's fine. I'm OK with exploring custom solutions. A few months ago, I went on a research binge about Luxeon's Class A...

    Decent White LED Strips?

I have ordered/used 20-30 12V LED strips over the past few years... 2835, 5050, 5630s. I typically order strips in the $10-20 range from Amazon that are rated well, and am disappointed 80% of the time. Color is wicked low, temp is way odd, etc. I found one set that I really liked, but then, I...
