Re: FS: 2 First Gen McGizmo Ti PD Mules in Original Condition
Thanks shado. Shipping did take longer than I expected. Apparently, the light spent a few days in LA, presumably in Customs purgatory. Note to everyone in the US, Express Mail appears to pass Customs quicker than Priority Mail.
Re: FS: 2 First Gen McGizmo Ti PD Mules in Original Condition
I'm glad of the interest everyone. I probably should have asked for more. But I couldn't in good conscience given that these lights are 4.5 years old, even though they are pretty much unused.
Re: FS: 2 First Gen McGizmo Ti PD Mules in Original Condition
Well that was quicker than I expected. I would have guessed they'd last at least an hour late on a Sat night. But then again these are terrific lights. If I didn't have two non-Mule PDs, I'd never let them go.
stoli67 and shado...
I have two of McGizmo's 1st generation Ti PD Mules as described in this thread:.
These are in *original* condition. They have been sitting in nylon sheaths in my emergency kits since I received them from Don. A couple hours of run time on each at most!
I paid $405 originally... but I'm...
Re: 2nd Wave of Ti Sapphire
I ordered one last week and had it a couple of days later. Send Don an email order and it's very likely you'll get a shipping notice as a response.
Actually, I was referring to the Draco's TiCN over Ti. I agree that it would be silly to put TiCN over Al. If WC over Al is roughly as hard and abrasion resistant as TiCN over Ti, that's pretty cool. Saves a lot of money on the substrate. Maybe I'll have to rethink my Ti only strategy.
Re: FS: 7 x Lux K2, "1000 lumen", WISELED Tactical--PRICE DROP
Fair enough. My photography skills are poor, but here's a link to the WISELED product page, which has some professional pics:

I originally bought it from Mike at Pacific...
WISELED Tactical 7 x K2 LED flashlight. Unbelievably bright. Manufacturer says 1000 lumens--that's probably a little overstated but it's the only LED light I've seen that gives mid range hot wires a run for their money.
I listed this in regular B/S/T a while back, but this seems more comparable...
My USL landed. It's totally insane! Even though I know what it can do, I'm still totally surprised every time I light it off.
BTW, less than 4 sec to light a piece of blue tissue paper on fire.
