    4Sevens Quark Turbo 123ˆ2 "X" is out!

    Drive currents looks like a copy-paste-job from the Quark 123² Turbo, R5 Edition. To produce 450 lumens OTF the XM-L needs to be driven at about 1.5A, 260 lumens needs about 800mA and to produce 60 lumens OTF it needs about 150mA. Calculations based on T6 bin.

    NEW Fenix TK11 XP-G R5 and TK12 XP-G R5 - 18650 - 285 Lumens

    It says the TK12 XP-G "Uses Two 3V CR123A Lithium batteries or one 18650 Li-ion battery". The specs for the XR-E R2 says "Uses two 3v CR123A lithium batteries". So maybe the XP-G ships with the 18650 body tube as standard. :twothumbs if that's the case. Edit: Hmm, just read the headline...

    Batteries for P2D?

    I'm using LiFePO4 cells in my P2D/L1D and they work with all modes even if the runtimes are a bit short. Runtime (turbo) with 500mAh 16340 is 30 mins to 50%. Runtime (turbo) with 600mAh 14500 is 36 mins to 50%. Compared to NiMH, the L1D gets a higher turbo mode, but it also gets a higher low...
