I left batteries in my Fenix TK40 and never intended to not use it for so long. But time flies and before I knew it I took it out and the batteries had leaked.
I cleaned the tube and battery holder with some vinegar to remove the residue and wiped the other parts with vinegar also.
The problem...
That seems to have fixed the problem. Man I feel much better now - nothing worse than looking forward to something so much and then it does not work right. Thanks Kilovolt.
Just received a Fenix TK40. It swithces on when I move it, without even touching the switch. Both ends are screwed tight. Would appreciate some advice. (Other than to return it - which will be my last recourse). Thanks.
I just took delivery of a brand new Fenix TK40.
When I move the light it switches on and off without touching the clickie.
I have checked everything obvious - it is tight at both ends, etc.
Any advice?
