    That seems like a great idea. Im fairly new to this so which p60 head would be best for distance and high output. not sure how the modes would work but Id like to keep it simple. high and strobe at a max or just high.

    That Elzetta is sweet but way way out of budget. I have to provide all my own gear at this tiny department. So a light for the rifle I will hardly if ever use comes after body armor, pistol light, and and and and. 70 would probably be my max and that means my gear elsewhere would have to suffer.

    Prefer something that runs on 18650 cells. Its going on my duty rifle so it needs to be reliable with some good distance. I was looking at the fenix p10gt for about 50. Is there a better option?

    Anyone tested fit in some duty holsters? Can you post pictures next to the tlr1 and x300. If im lucky I can find a duty holster for this light and not soend a bunch more on a x300

    Im not sure what's wrong with it. Tightening the head doesn't enter high mode. I dont think thats a function of the switch.

    Im looking for a streamlight tlr1 or a surefire x300ultra and I need a new 1in light for rifle mounted use. Im not picky on that as long as its bright and can stand up to the recoil.

    So my long time Jet Beam has started acting up. It no longer goes into high mode. Ive disassembled it and cleaned everything. only thing I can find is the tail cap has a brass ring that is broke in the middle. Not sure if its supposed to be like that or if its supposed to be split like a lock...

    bought a new jetbeam and used my preon for 9 hours on high(3 sets of batterys) while looking for a waveguide pressure leak.

    this is my first jet beam so i dont have that luxury. its not a big deal. when i return from the mid east then its going on the rifle and prolly never coming off. im thinking nitecore defender infinity for an every day carry.
