oh wow that really helps. That's it, I'm sold for the Quark 100%. I'm ordering 5 AA2s for the whole family plus 5 Fenix diffusers and 5 Quark prisms!! :D:D:D:D:D- LightningFox

You're very right, except on one accessory. The LD20 has a white tube tip diffuser that turns it into a super nice lamp. (http://www.fenixlight.com/viewproduct.asp?id=53) Extremely useful when inside a tent. The Quark doesn't have that and the LD20's diffuser won't fit the Quark and there are no...- LightningFox

Battery meter?
Pardon my innocence, I'm new here, but is there such thing as a battery meter? Suppose your flashlight runs out of juice, you find a dusty drawer full of batteries of all kinds and need two AA or 123 or D (whatever) of them re-power your light. Given it's not a good thing to mix new batteries...- LightningFox
