    Hey Setapong, I have an old maglite that needs a heatsink, which one should fit? The serial number does not have a "D" in front of it. I think the ID is bigger than current 3Ds. Please advise. Thanks!

    Yes, button top cells were used, 2 different brands and primaries as well. I thought it was a contact issue as well but it's not. I've been in the biz long enough to know that it's the lights. They are going back. I'll keep you guys posted.

    The driver is soldered to the brass ring and then press fit on the pill. A flat head watch screwdriver through the wire hole will do the trick.     Here is a pic of the grey. I just wish they made them in HAIII : / but overall, I like the design as much as the L2T. Very solid with no battery rattle using Xtar 2600.
