    SheKor Charger for 18650/17670/18500/17500/14500/16340/

I do still have these shekor chargers at e-lectronics.net, I did not take them off the site although I was out stock for a short period. I've sold a fair share of these now and had almost no returns or complaints. To be more specifc, there have been one or two come back due to a whining noise...

    Another 2xAA Mag Mod

Hi Guys, Mark from e-lectronics here, sorry for the confusion on this AA driver. I initially only had this driver in my personal stash for builds but listed a few by special request from someone who I'd had offline discussions with; I posted a very limited product description due to the...

This sounds like a pretty easy fix if you're mechanically inclined. You should be able to remove the switch assembly by using a pair of pointed tweezers (or similar device) as a spanner wrench, inserting the tips in to the two holes that you see in the retaining ring when you look in the tail...

LiFeP04s from e-lectronics.net - ever use them? OK website?

Hi Harry, I don't have anything in CR2 format. I've seen bare Li-ion advertised and I've seen some that claim 3.0v rechargeable but I believe this is mis-represented and I don't believe there actually is a 3.0v, protect or LiFePO4 format CR2 available (anyone please correct me if I'm wrong). If...

Sorry, I don't know of a good replacement driver. I was just looking recently myself and noticed most of them are for 5v and up. As a last ditch resort, maybe there is there is a bad solder connection on the driver board that you could repair?

You should first determine if it is the board or the emitter; my first guess would be the emitter. Power it up and check if there is voltage to the emitter. If you have a power supply you can also apply ~3.5v to the emitter to see if it fires up.

Is it possible your meter was configured for current measurement and you were measuring across the + and - of the emitter? Current measurements must be performed in series with the circuit, not parallel.

LiFeP04s from e-lectronics.net - ever use them? OK website?

Hi LuxL I guess from looking at the curve I posted, it looks a bit more like 3.2v for the nominal but that is at the low 100ma rate as you mentioned. From what I recall when the load is higher the nominal seemed lower. Kind of like a Li-ion which can vary from 3.6-3.8 I guess. I'll put a...

LiFeP04s from e-lectronics.net - ever use them? OK website?

Hi Folks, and thanks for the kind words Winston. Hopefully this info helps, I am Mark (e-lectronics), these are Lifepo4 and the quality is about as good as any other out there...500mAh from anyone on this type of cell is a stretch in my opinion I find the LifePo4 to have a limited niche with...

Funny how this works, I personally expect direct Chinese purchases to be different than advertised, that way I feel special when it shows up as described. On the bright side you got it working, Kudos to you for that! Imagine if it were built by a supplier like Surefire, it wouldn't have to be...

Is it possibly your battery cutting out, rather than the light?

    VB-16 from DealExtreme.

Re: success in removing the reflector from a VB-16 Oh-boy! I didn't have any luck with disassembling my silver anodized vb-16 (just scratched it up as mentioned in my post above) BUT.... I tried a black one, well actually two black ones and the head came off with hand force only. There wasn't...

How do you test your led's?

Unfortunately, no. The max amperage is 3 amps on this unit regardless of the voltage setting. (amperage and current are the same thing) The amperage and voltage dials on power supplies like these are "maximum" limit values which are user adjustable meaning that the power supply will do its best...

How do you test your led's?

I also use a bench top variable voltage and current power supply. If you're looking for an example, I'm happy with the price and performance of this 18v 3amp unit from kitsusa.net
