Apparently there are 2 versions.
The AER that matches the older handle, and the AET that matches the current handle pattern.
The AER shows as discontinued, but the AET shows out of stock.

As part of my recent purchase i bought one of these at the 1/2 price deal when buying a 2nd PD35TAC.
I know i can charge it in the chargers i use at 1A.
But when charging vis a USB cable, what is required on the other end?
Can it be the typical USB adaptor?
Or one that only puts out 1A?

2 of my Fenix lights i bought came as a package deal with Fenix 18650/3500mah batteries.
All but one charge and terminate in my Xtar VC2 plus charger.
1 of these gets to 99% and shows 1 minute till completion, then...

when you start it up you have to push the button just below the LCD screen to select the charge rate you want to use.
It defaults to 0.5A.
It won't jump to 1.0A on it's own.
You can even change it while it is already charging the batteries too which i was happy about so as...
