    Fenix L1P L2P discontinued

Agreed. The T's are the same price and have more features and the L1T has the option of using a 3.7v lithium with the 3watt Luxeon.

    Fenix L1P L2P discontinued

I didnt say it was fact. My original post says it "LOOKS LIKE the L1P has been discontinued". And in fact it does LOOK LIKE it has been. In any case yea, I'll wait for 4sevens to respond.

    Fenix L1P L2P discontinued

Oh calm down. It really does seem like it's been discontinued and Tadgear has been keeping close track of these lights for a while. It also says so on the L1P page. So what info do you have that it's in fact NOT being discontinued?

    Fenix L1P L2P discontinued

Looks like Fenix L1P and L2P's are discontinued and L1T and L2T with 3watt LEDs are replacing them. http://www.tadgear.com/x-treme%20gear/flashlights%20main/fenix.htm

So... Here it goes. *long rant*

LaserModifer, I was the one who wrote the detailed review on wickedlasers a while back. Let me know how your WL unit turns out when you get it. I too have started hearing rumors of them sending extreme lasers under their stated 40mw output. That's dissapointing as I'm sure %99 of the people...

For anyone Looking to Purchase Laserphaser LP-115

Re: For anyone Looking to Purchase Laserphaser LP- ShiftLock, when you're ready to sell your GLP-III's I'd love to do a review for the forum. I wrote a comprehensive review of the wickedlasers product a few months ago at this link

    measuring output of green laser

The 4.5 value sounds about right for the 57.6mw laser...however I'm surprised the Wicked 35.8mW rated so low. I get ~200uA (44mw) with mine which was about where it was measured at.

Leadlight green laser current draw survey

I did verify with a laser meter with the specific radio shack LED .... I posted the stock # in a previous message.

Leadlight green laser current draw survey

With the radio shack LED I referred, I get uA / 4.5 = mw power.

Leadlight green laser current draw survey

I get 360mAH. But again shorting the center only gets me about 400mAH.

Leadlight green laser current draw survey

sbk which resistor did you change ? By completely taking off the high resistor flanking the pot I can pull 360mAH. By shorting the pot (do you short the center of the pot or outside?) I can then pull 400mAH but never in the 500mAH range...

DT_20 that sounds about right. Glad the LED method works for you. Others can reference that particular LED from radio shack and post their own measurements using my formula for themselves

Leadlight green laser current draw survey

Thats no the same one I validated with my tests. Here it is here: http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=276-022 With that LED my formula is mw output = microamps/4.5
