Second ElektroLumens EDC review... Newbie post alert...

I have left the light on several times, used it to hammer some nails, dunked it, washed it, took it on a trip, have had it in the pocket with keys, and again left it on... And when you leave it on it gets scalding hot, but I could still hold on to it. Pain tolerance is a must in this department...

Second ElektroLumens EDC review... Newbie post alert...

I have to follow up on this, and maybe do a video review... I've been using the light for a while now and it's been through water and everything, but something is just making me want to abuse this light, just to see what it will take before complete destruction... I'm contemplating doing some...

    REVIEW: Shiningbeam Romisen RC-N3-Q5

Question about tailcap switch... Strobe... I noticed the RC-N3 without Q5 emitter has a strobe option but the one with Q5 doesn't... Has anyone tried swapping out the tailcaps to get the strobe, or is that in the head of the light? I'd really like to get this light with the Q5 and strobe with...

    CATEYE LUMINUX 14500?

Here's what I have to work with... Any feedback would be much appreciated... I'm also thinking of using a Bridgelux LED... Would it get too hot? Is this a ridiculous project? Would a Xenon or Krypton bulb be better? If so where could I obtain one in this micro halogen size? NAM

    CATEYE LUMINUX 14500?

I have a CatEye Luminux micro halogen light, and I want to modify it... The JC bi pin 12v bulbs would probably work. I'm thinking of using 4 14500 batteries giving me 14.4 volts approx.. Is this a bad idea with a plastic cover lens? Would I be better off with LED? NAM

Second ElektroLumens EDC review... Newbie post alert...

Yeah that's the one... Though it was 15 at the store in my area. Also I try to cycle the batteries in between what I thought might be their voltage levels, but I think I'm probably going far between, avoiding any stress on the batteries. I'm not sure how it works honestly but I probably should...

And here's the EDC, I forgot to put this in the other post, but since I'm going for the most posts as possible in this thread, I might as well start another one, lol (note: I edited the other post to include this picture but won't edit this one for sheer multi posting newbie madness...

RED LENS AMBER LENS BLUE LENS Lens, fits snugly, but not too snug, just right for quick swapping and removal. My lil setup... A tree at maybe 50 feet or so (note that this is with a half charged hacked part of a laptop battery and isn't as bright as it could potentially be) My LED...

Second ElektroLumens EDC review... Newbie post alert...

OK, the light was a Brinkman Rebel, and it came with 3 filters all of which happen to fit perfectly (for me) on the EL EDC. They're not too snug but for just swapping them on and off real quick, they're perfect. Brinkman may also sell replacement filters for their line of lights as well. They...
