    The Niteye Eye10 has detents in it's control ring mechanism that might have prevented this issue.

    EDC'ing five different lights -- well-prepared or simply insane?

    Mini-123 on my keychain Preon II in my shirt pocket Quark-123^2 in my jacket pocket Surefire C2 with Nailbender XML drop-in in my bag Mini-AA^2 in my truck. So only 3 lights on my person, but 5 total with me. You're maybe slightly over the top but not too bad from where I sit.

    My wide told me that shet had used my Catapult to look under her car seat for someting that she lost. I'm suprised it didn't blind her.

    Has anyone had any issues buying a HDS light through a third-party website like goinggear instead of through HDS's site? I tried searching and couldn't find any mention of it.

    There are 5 (I think) levels on a Quark if you need longer run times. I am glad that 4sevens is on the leading edge of tech and seems to push innovation.

    Oops! My bad! You are correct that the Catapult is a large light, and not exactly pocketable in its 2x18650 mode. I bought the Thrunite holster, it is a very simple holster that has no retention features.

    You might need to wait more than 40 minutes when asking for people's experience with two specific lights.

    I would guess that, generally speaking, the penlight AAA form factor is not going to be a good thrower.

    new incan on the way to me

    Well I have an SC1 that I bought with my G2 - I guess that the spare E-series lamps don't fit in it. The MN02 lamp looks nice for a lower level light, thanks for the tip.
