Just wait until the next change comes! Tesla just announce new tile lithium cells. They charge up super fast without overheating and hold more charge. Bring this to the flashlight world and it's a game changer.
A lot has changed if Fenix was the last light that you bought 10 years ago. In a way they paved the way towards a quality light at 1k lumens. Even today their lights remain to be of that same quality. And that there is also why fenix has fallen behind. They keep making the same lights without...
Wait are you looking for a flashlight or a battery? If it's battery, go with enloop or ikea which are enloop pros for $10 a pack. To fully drain or finish off an alkaline cell the flashlight wouldn't be able to maintain max output no matter how stable it is if voltage is too low. I recently...
For unplanned emergencies where power outages and lack of chargers needs to be included, you just want something that will turn on when turned on and easy to find more juice. As much as I love my powerful lithium flashlights, what you want is AA or AAA small flashlights. I recently got the...
I just got this flashlight in gunmetal grey and it does feel to be a premium device. It doesn't push boundaries like other companies, but what it does it does well. I seem to be having some "handshaking issues" as well. The MCC3 cable that came with the light seems to not like to trickle charge...
I'm guessing you meant LD70! If it's that one I completely agree and I absolutely love mine as well. The fact that it runs stable at 900 lumens and fits on a keychain is the new times we're in! As for the MS03, I feel like when I need that much light, I'm going to be in the wilderness setting...
Tell me about it. My LD70 4000 lumens keychain light pretty much broke all my 18650 EDC. I can't even find a slightly larger light that outputs as much :(
I know you said you prefer AAA, but in my opinion, go lithium! I recently bought a LD70 and the thing is rugged as heck and I'm finding that I'm bringing my EDC less and less since I got it. You can just leave it on the lower brightness setting if you don't need that much light. I'm loving mine...
Yes 900 is no problem. I was doubtful it could maintain 2k for 1.5min and 4k at a minute, but it can as long as the light was off and cold to start. It actually ramps down to 900 lumens when it overheats! LED's like engines start struggling at max power, but run them at lower RPM's and and they...
Awesome thoughts on the light and I agree! I managed to attach it to my keys and it would be too big for most to consider it as a keychain. I already have a bunch of clunky car fobs, beer bottle openers, knife and heavy keys. It kind of works for me and the sheer power this thing puts out is...
You might be able to get them to fit with some neodymium magnets to extend the length. Yeah I don't like how imalent makes their batteries specialized or sealed. But they are winning the lumen wars for sure!
Just picked up the imalent LD70. Was in the market for a flashlight I'd have at all times. A Keychain light was a no brainer, but none of them impressed me. That is until the current brightest flashlight company in the world dumped the XHP70.2 into the smallest light ever and it does 4k lumens...
The first proper review is out!
The standard has been raised very high. Those FW1A Pro overheat after 15 seconds and can't keep up with this output wise. I think the shielding really helps with the heat syncing. 18650 and 21700 flashlights are going to have to have to beat this thing at least...
Finally got it today! Here's some quick pics of the actual light and a quickie video I took:

My impressions so far is that it's absolutely the brightest keychain light in the world at the moment. It's a little larger than their LD10 and you lose...
