Anybody know Mac's status?
So people are still waiting patiently their light after some 12 months of waiting??? And with very sporadic of non existant updates. Aspheric lens on a mag85?
Ok, sure it works, the aspheric lens will make a hotspot of the filament. But based on my testing, which I made just now middle of this post, beam of Mag85 to some trees 100m away. The hostspot was brighter and bigger using Fivemega 2,5" throwmaster than with 52mm shurplusshed aspherical... My...- Pokemonrules

Aspheric lens on a mag85?
Aspheric will not really work with any incandescent bulbs. you can try it (I have) , with the right focus you will get a image of the filiament, does not really do you any good. It looks like you project a image of a spring on the wall. Aspherics are best used with LEDs- Pokemonrules
