    The battery is the the right direction. It charges in the light & was never out.-no other lights with that batt. I have a multi meter I could test it with. NEBO says it has over/under charge protection built in.

    I have a NEBO slyde that has a rechargeable 18650 battery. When I plugged it in to recharge it last night it discharged the battery & now it’s dead. Could it be that the battery life span is done & I need to replace it or is it likely a problem with the light?

    Streamlight Waypoint 300

    I’m looking at a Streamlight Waypoint 300. Does anyone know if it steps down in power when you use the high setting (2500 lumens) I’m new to flashlights and I’ve learned just enough to be completely confused. Thanks in advance.

    Spotlight recommendations

    I know very little about flashlights. I assumed(maybe incorrectly)that throwers build up heat & step down in power rather quickly hence the main reason I was thinking spotlight.

    I’m looking to find a spotlight. I need one to find my dog at night & for generally “what was that noise.” I don’t think I want thrower (don’t want heat build up or it to step down in power in a short time) We have 3 acres & I would like to be able to see something about 800 or more feet away...
