When I try to use a freshly charged cell in my TH30 it flashes once and seems to shut down.
I'm only charging using the light itself and the only other cell I've used are Nitecore 3400 mah 3.7v 12.6WH
However when I run down the cell in another light a bit it can then be used in the TH30.

The cells in question are all ''high capacity'' ( 2400 ) . Amazon Basics and eneloop pro. 2 of each.
Perhaps I should drain them individually in a light then try.
My charger is starting to die .....I think. I'm getting the ''high'' message on cells that otherwise seem fine. (I've no other way of checking their health).

As title suggests I'm looking for a light that would be visibly brighter than my oldish EA81. (2,000 lumen)

Sorry for replying so late but .... I just purchased a VG-15s and have not yet to been able to access ultra-low mode.
It's not a deal killer but I would have liked it for indoor use.
Is it possible that ultra-low is not accessible with a fully charged cell ?

I have the Nitecore ea81 and the Sunwayman D40A. I would recommend both lights.
I would not recommend the Nitecore 4 cell rubber button model.
