I think its about right, Orange orange brown gold, is about 330uH. I think these inductors are Choke inductors. Im not sure mind you. You could try this online calculator http://tritium.fis.unb.br/Fis3Exp/fcim.csdc.com/fcimis/compid/ind/radind.html.
I have seen many circuits here discussed which uses inductors my question is, can you use an RF Choke in a resistor type package instead of a true inductor for these circuits?
Thank you all in advance..
@Ledmania
I see, Thank you for the info! Will try again maybe this weekend. Strange that they dont know of inductors/choke though. But alexan has some in resistor casing, 100uH and 22uH. I think its an RF Choke bought some but havent been able to try it yet
@PEU
I ordered from wilco some...
I built Mr. Peu's design mod and it works great! Just wish I had my hands on a Nichia or better yet Luxeon Thanks Mr. PEU
@LEDMANIA
I asked DEECO personnel for the inductors, told me they dont sell any:( Maybe they dont know? Any suggestions?
Yes they are, RAON. Forgot the name of the shop. But they mainly sell camera's. They also sell other multiple led flashlight (china) as well as "Real" Mag's as well. The Inova I bought was priced at 500 Php, but was priced down to 450 Php. Try looking into other stores as well.
Hey Legtu, try using the toroid core from a busted Philips lamp, I use those and it works fine. You can also try Farnellinone (Afti.com.ph, tel# 892 3883)although their prices are steep, you can buy from them with no minimum order required. Hope it helps.
Has annyone tried the generic inova flashlight (China)? I was wondering what kind of circuit it uses. How is it different from the REAL Inova? The shop where I saw it told me that it uses the "same" circuit except the difference is material used in the body.
Do I make any sense at all?
Hello everyone! Im new here in this forum and would like to ask some help in building my Two cell step-up driver for 1 or 2 white led. Since im limited to using transistors (Joule Thief/Satcure) here in the Philippines, I would like to ask for any input from all Flashlight Guru's here. I would...
