Is Sanyo MC-MQN06U AA/AAA charger okay for Eneloops?

I bought a AA/AAA batteries in store and it was bundled in with a Sanyo MC-MQN06U charger. I was told by the sales rep that this charger is not desirable for charging with eneloop batteries and he recommended I picked up a Nitecore Intellicharger along with it. I did not know that much at the...

Selbuilt Review of the Xtar WP2-II Li-ion Charger

Awesome review. Definitely considering picking one of these up for the USB charging function.

Better keychain AAA light than Fenix E05?

I've had my olight i3 for a year and it's still going strong. Being on my keychain all the time, it's constantly being dropped, banged, and thrown around and despite all this abuse it still works flawlessly. It's a fairly bright light for what it is, and it's reasonably priced, you won't regret it.

Opinions on Thrunite Scorpion V2 and similar lights to it?

I've been looking for a single 18650 battery thrower and I really like the modes and switching mechanism of the Thrunite Scorpion V2. I haven't heard much reviews about this light yet and was wondering what your opinions on it were before I pull the trigger. Is there any other single 18650...

Difference between X-ML and XPG-2 emitter?

Yes, I was a bit hesitant because there were quite a few people complaining about the issues they had pre-flash and the light not having consistent lighting.

Difference between X-ML and XPG-2 emitter?

I think I am mainly concerned about the distance in which I can illuminate an area rather than the flood. When you say the XM-L can be driven above 1.5A and produce more lumens, does this mean using 14500 batteries instead of AA's? If I did drive the XM-L above 1.5A, would it still not...

Difference between X-ML and XPG-2 emitter?

I've planning on getting my first "higher" end light for a while, looking mainly at the Quark 2AA light, but couldn't decide between the X-ML and XPG-2 emitters. From what I gathered, the X-ML is brighter and floodier, but with less battery runtime, while XPG-2 emitter has much better runtime...

Quark QP2A-X, EagleTac D25A2, or something similar?

I was leaning towards 4Sevens as well since I have had very little interaction with Eagletac products. I am actually surprised that Eagletac repairs have to be sent back to Asia, which seems very inconvenient if anything happens to their customer's products. I'm actually a pretty big newbie in...

Quark QP2A-X, EagleTac D25A2, or something similar?

I am currently deciding between these two fantastic 2AA flashlights and from the looks of it, they both seem very similar to each other, except Quark QP2A-X is out of stock in a few sites and the ones that are stocking them are priced at $70 a piece. EagleTac D25A2 on the other hand is around...

New Fenix E25 Light, Any Thoughts?

You're probably right, my criterias for flashlights do seem kind of superficial, although I think High/Med/Lo is enough for my purposes as of now since I can't really think of any uses for Strobe/Beacon. I do wish the Lo modes on E21 and E25 were a lot lower, since I sometimes need a dimmer...

New Fenix E25 Light, Any Thoughts?

I've been searching to buy my first "real" flashlight(my most expensive light is $5), and the only criteria I had was easily replacable AA batteries and a ~$30 price range to fit my tight budget. I came across Fenix E21 and was about to pull the trigger, but a friend told me I should...

    AA/AAA Battery Charger?

Thank you so much. I will definitely look into both of these, but the Sony one right now seems to fit my budget better.

Why is Fenix E05/E01 highly regarded as opposed to other AAA lights?

I'm sorry to hear that your light broke on the 3rd drop! I'm extremely clumsy and drop my keys all the time but aside from some dents and paint chipping, it still works fine. I also completely agree with what Jorn said about using the batteries drained from the ITP A3 on the E01. Would the...
