    Sometimes durability makes you feel...bad.

    I just upgraded my old 2 C cell maglite with a Cree XP-E led (180 lumen), makes a hell of a difference, giving a good 150 yards throw and still plenty of life left in it yet.

    See if you can pick up an Annsmann Energy 16, cream of the crop but difficult to get at a good price in the UK.

    New here as well, but I have never found Lensers to be very robust but still good value for what features they have, tend to stick to Fenix type torches - lithium batteries are just as easy to charge nowadays as traditional AA and tend to have more capacity and higher voltage, not very...
