Co2 product coder re-tubing

Hi,I'm looking for anyone with any knowledge of Lasetec/Filtec Co2 coders. The tube is near EOL and factory wants over $5000 to re-gas it. It apparently uses a glass tube 25-45 watts. Hoping it's possible to replace it with a new tube from Ebay. We haven't opened the head yet,were told by their...
