    Hot SureFire L4

    I also have an L4 and yes it is normal for them to get super hot. They get escpecially hot when you use rechargeables like Pila's or RCR123's. Don't know what to do about it other than consideridering it a hand warmer as well.

    Power Out- Funny!

    Similar here, Power out while an work, pause, oh yeah I have at least 2 flashlights in my pockets and 3 in my briefcase. I was only dissapointed when the lights went back on because I was busy trying out my flashlights in a 'real life' situation.

    Nearly, the SL TL-3 3 cell ~200 lumens. When I need light I usually need a lot of it quickly. Now, outdoor activities such as camping / hiking / working outdoors into the night, my standard EDC is the SF M4 4 cell on the belt.
