Im new to the 5.11 rush messenger bag and love it so far. For me it was between the maxpedition larkspur and the rush messenger and right on cue I found one on sale here in my hometown so that was the deal breaker. 9.5/10. Well thought out bag and great quality.
I've really had the best success using a cheap fiskars 17" hatchet. Its light, scary sharp and does medium/small wood for a weekend of camping just fine. I don't get the batoning thing so I'd rather have a good knife and a small hatchet. At home recently it was deployed as a root cutter but...
what about the super sized swiss army tool. kind of a stupid idea as well but hey they still put out good practical tools that are good quality and pocket friendly.
Uber tactical. Throw on a pocket clip and edc the thing. Police should carry for a blind em and beat em stick, one whack shall straighten out most criminals.

c'mon TO ain't that bad! so, as most have confirmed it would seem that less lum and not as direct a hit would be proper etiquette. but i cant blame you for wanting to blast stuff with 800 lums.
