    Just to wrap this up, I found http://www.luxeonstar.com/ shipping from Brantford so I went the lux route. I've ordered twice so far and received the shipment within 2 or 3 business days!

    DC waterproof connectors?

    Ok. More of a note than anything, but the automotive world has been pulling trailers for years using non-waterproof connectors. That's what I'm using on my bike lights I build. I can see waterproofing switches so they don't corrode, but not connectors. huh?

    Mr16 LED to replace 20 watt halogen

    I have nothing to do with this supplier and the mr16-LED is super-expensive but I bought one anyway. This was my first step away from Halogen. Seems OK. The spec says 25 degrees. 6 watts. 3 cree of unknown type/bin. More of a flood. http://www.canadaleds.com/HB_led_mr-16.htm
