26650 overcharging?

Hi all, I recently picked up a D4S and threw the included LiitoKala 3.7V 5000 mAh 26650 into my old model Nitecore i2 charger. I took it off when it was indicated at about 2/3 charge and put it in my D4S, then was surprised to see that the battery check feature indicated a charge of 4.2V...
