I think anyone who has Pre-ordered from ZL in the past knows it can be a wait. This light was announced early 2016, "released" 8-2016, pre-order late august, ship late September is par for coarse IF everything goes smooth lol
Hello Friends,
I haven't been active on the forums lately, I was hoping to get some recommendations for a new 365NM UV light. Used for finding urine, and curing norland, charging GITD, etc. I have been using a Tank007 TK-566 which has been pretty good for a couple years. It has a great...

For a beginner just a kit lens is fine until you figure out what kind of shooting your gonna be doing. Then you can make an informed decision on what kind of lenses you want to buy. IMO don't start spending $$$$ until you have a handle on what FL you really need and whether you need a macro...
I think pentax gives you the best bang for the buck. If you look at DXO or any other independent tests and reviews they are rated highest in their class. You can get a Weather Resistant K30 with 18-55 WR Kit lens for $500. Compatibility with old lenses is better than canon or nikon. SR and...
There are some great shots in this thread. Wow.
ElectronGuru-Those are fabulous shots! Is that fourth a candid or posed? I'm not sure where you are in oregon. I spent some time is the eugene/springfield area had a blast and met some characters.
I recently bought my first DSLR and have really...
Any light would be visible to them(poachers) much MUCH further than it would be useful for you to see. Like you said the point is for them to see they are being watched so I would suggest trying what you may already own first. If you wanted to see the plate at night there should be a light on...
Re: FS:New XM-L2 Shorty C/D Maglites NOW 875 OFT lumens!!
I got my light last night when I got back from out of town. Looks good and the tint is just as I'd hoped. The extension tube is solid and awesome and makes it just look like any 3D mag.
Great job I may post a couple pics this weekend.
I think white top made in japan duracells are decent cells, but I've never seen real evidence sanyo made them. In my small sample size(8 AA) The duraloops are doing worse than V1 or V2 eneloops after several years.
Also you won't be getting fresh cells if you buy "duraloops"
Re: ZebraLight SC600 MkII interface and tint observations
I think you set the strobe as one of the high levels. IIRC
-From off short click to get high and wait a couple seconds
-Double click 3 times to start changing modes
-Double again will change modes, double click until you find strobe...
