Help finding a replacement bulb for a Pelican Big Ed rechargable

So the hole in the reflector is only 0.310" in diameter, and the bulb's diameter is 0.298". So it's a tight fit. Still waiting to hear back from any bulb suppliers is they offer such a thing.

Help finding a replacement bulb for a Pelican Big Ed rechargable

So I stopped to find some Maglite bulbs today with no luck. Found some Rayovac that were labeled as 4D/C replacement bulbs. They fit the Big Ed socket, but were to fat to slide into the reflector. The Big Ed bulb is slim, it's glass is straight from the base until it start to round out the tip.

Help finding a replacement bulb for a Pelican Big Ed rechargable

Gentlemen, I'm handling purchasing for my career fire dept. We've got about 200 Big Ed™ lights from Pelican. The problem is that the Big Ed™ comes with a primary (high output) bulb, and a backup (low output) bulb. The low output bulbs are useless for us, as we only want to replace burned out...

    ever lost a flashlight?

About 2 years ago I lost my favorite light. It was a Leef 2x18500 body in black with a Malkoff M61 and a Surefire clicky tailcap. I was really sad over that one.

    Malkoff M61WLL 17.5 hours on 18650!!

I ran a M60LL for a long time in a 6P. I recently switched it out for a M61WLL. The warn tint of the M61WLL is hands down the nicest led flashlight bean I've ever seen. And I've owned about 10 or more M60's in the past. From now on, I won't purchase anything but warn tints from Gene.

    Comparing my M60 and M61

I don't work with, or speak for Gene..... But if and when some optics are available for the XPG's, maybe he'll offer them. I love the M61, I just ordered two more yesterday.

C2 or M2 for malkoff host

I don't see any reason to have the M2 head with a Malkoff. Go with the C2.

    Building a new patrol light

I vote for a M61W. A super powerful drop-in will ruin any hope of having any night vision once you power it up inside a room with white walls. If the light goes out, or someone knocks it out of your hand, you'll be blind as a bat until your pupils dilate. The M61W is plenty powerful. I carry...

    Nite Ize Drop in

I bought one years ago and was disappointed. They may have upgraded the emitter since then. At that price, you don't have much to lose.

    Malkoff M61 2x18650 numbers??

This is how I understand it. Say you run a 2x123 set up until the M61 emits 80 lumens. I don't know what that voltage would be, but let's just say it's 4 volts. Now, when 2 cells are putting out 4 volts, that means each cell is drained until it's at 2 volts, because they're in series. For 3...
