    --i don;t think the 5A drain of the A1 will be a problem mostly it is vapers with 'mechanical mods' - which overdischarge the cells with no protection talking about 20+ amps there most flashlights will not let the bats overdischarge none of them will draw 20A and chargers will not charge...

    i would not consider 2x18650 or 1x26650 EDC but ok for you.. as you say, at that light level, you also have big heat problems, making either weight or size a lot bigger than the 1000 lumen 18650 lights, which also get pretty hot wle
