I HATE the U.S. Postal Service because the person sets to box in full view of the
persons walking by on the street. By using common sense they could place it
behind a flower pot or on a chair on the porch like the UPS people do, thus not presenting an easy temtation for all passer-bys!
Please!
Mut & CY this sounds like a "Good Time" - great idea!
If CY can muster up fixin's for 50+ then I can put enough away for at least 5+! Kidding aside; Count me in!
Hi tech and BBQ; Oklahoma aint a bad after all.
Thank you Doug! I can now jump on the bandwagon and do some keeping up with my friends and their first run "fireflys"
Will you post here so I don't miss on these?
Did you consider a dimmer function?
Way to go CY!
As a newbie (sel-proclaimed) you are a valuable addition to this forum.
Does this mod lighten the force required for latching the switch mechanism?
When are ya going to let go of your firefly?

Must wiegh in here because I use calipers daily in Quality control as a inspector.
1) China made calipers are not all equal; pick up caliper an slide over the full range; it should be smooth.
2) Make sure the jaws close fully (no light coming through) and the dial should zero every time.

Can you use the LED inside the incandesant or vice versa?
Night fighter or tl-2; pros & cons?
Looks like Southwest Public Safety has em' for 55-led and 44-incandesant. Best I could find on price.

Re: need advice on SL6 for long range ?
I have a SL6 ; the hotspot is solid and penetrating. I don't think the reach is any greater than my pelican m-6 a 6-volt light. Much easier to carry than a 5-d mag!
Please see the thread on the 285 lumen 2-c mag....this baby cooks!
