    Ok...100 meters is the max average long distance I would need...things ae usually a lot closer. What light in that size has 3000 lumens? Or was that a hypothetical only...

    That makes sense...I would need the light to go nuclear at first click to ascertain subject/weapons, etc. which seems opposite that most UI needs that I have seen on this site. So your point is well taken...

Seriously, if I buy three or four of these, I have entered into the realm of a McGizmo and Mac's Tri-EDC...or Oveready, etc. Are these lights far and away better than the aforementioned $50-100 lights?
