    best LED Flashlight for fishing/crabbing?

    I using a 4D MAGLITE + TerraLUX TLE-6EX for my squid fishing, 150 lumens for 20 hrs, It's a bit big though and my next light will be a MAG 3D.

    No complaints here, I've made a few purchases from Ebay UK and have been very happy with the price and transit times, shipping from the US is a bit expensive and the trackings only to the post office and not to your door in many cases

    You might try flocked rubber shrink tube, it doesn't provide much padding perhaps you can add some underneathor it's possible to apply over some cord wrapped around the light tube for extra grip or an interesting effect...

    "Parkerized" Maglite finish?

    That's just normal anodizing, you can spec it that way or more than likely they didn't dip it in acid long to make the surface nice and shiny . Regards Charles

    That battery is quite commonly sold downunder complete with smart charger and soft case, you should be able to find one at a boating shop, thier OK to power your nav lights and sounder for one day but not the best if your heading away from home for a few days.
